SCAM ALERT: FRAUDULENT USE OF SAHAM SABAH BERHAD’S IDENTITY

It has come to our attention that unauthorized parties are impersonating Saham Sabah Berhad (SSB) by using the name “Saham Sabah Investments” to promote fraudulent investment schemes with misleading promises of high returns.

These scammers have issued a fake Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) Certificate of Registration which displays our Company’s business registration number and registered business address.

We would like to emphasize that SSB is NOT affiliated with any third-party investment scheme, we do NOT issue any investment packages under the name of “Saham Sabah Investments” and we do NOT accept payments outside of our official bank accounts.

Members of the public are advised to ignore any messages or advertisements promoting investment schemes under ‘Saham Sabah Investments’ or similar names and to verify with us before engaging in any investment offers claiming to be from SSB to protect themselves from scams.

Kami telah menerima maklumat bahawa pihak tidak bertanggungjawab telah menyamar sebagai Saham Sabah Berhad (SSB) dengan menggunakan nama “Saham Sabah Investments” untuk mempromosikan skim penipuan pelaburan dengan menjanjikan pulangan yang tinggi.

Scammer ini telah mengeluarkan Sijil Pendaftaran Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) palsu yang memaparkan nombor pendaftaran perniagaan serta alamat perniagaan
berdaftar Syarikat kami.

Kami ingin menegaskan bahawa SSB TIDAK mempunyai sebarang kaitan dengan mana-mana skim pelaburan pihak ketiga, TIDAK menawarkan pakej pelaburan di bawah nama “Saham Sabah Investments,” dan TIDAK menerima sebarang pembayaran selain daripada akaun bank rasmi kami.

Orang ramai dinasihatkan untuk mengabaikan sebarang mesej atau iklan yang mempromosikan skim pelaburan di bawah nama “Saham Sabah Investments” atau nama yang serupa serta membuat pengesahan dengan kami terlebih dahulu sebelum menyertai sebarang tawaran pelaburan yang mendakwa berasal daripada SSB bagi melindungi diri daripada penipuan.

SAS INTERIM AND ANNUAL REPORT THROUGH ELECTRONIC MEANS

With effect from January 2021, the Saham Amanah Sabah (“SAS”) Annual and Interim Report (“Report”) will be sent to unitholders in electronic form. The Report will be sent to the e-mail address which has been registered with Saham Sabah Berhad (“SSB”) or can be accessed via SSB’s website at http://www.sahamsabah.com.my

If you have yet to register your e-mail address, kindly update your information in the Unit Holder Information Update Form (“Form”) provided in SSB’s official website. If we do not receive any feedback by 31 December 2020, you are deemed to have agreed to obtain the Report through SSB’s website. However, in the event you want to receive the Report via e-mail, you may write to us at any time and submit it through the channels below. The printed Report is still available upon request, to be self-collected at SSB’s office.

Kindly be reminded that the Interim Report 30 June 2020 will be the last printed copy of the Report distributed to our unit holders.

AUTOMATIC RE-INVESTMENT OF INCOME DISTRIBUTION

The automatic re-investment for all income distribution (if any) has come into effect starting January 2021. For Unit Holders that did not provide us their bank account details by 31 December 2020, your income distribution would be re-invested automatically. However, automatic re-investment is not applicable to the SAS-PPRT Recipients and Bank Loanees.
